Bright Spacious 2BD/1BA, 5 mins to Harvard Sq, private deck & parking

We are looking for good tenants that will take care of our home for at least 12 months. The ideal start date is September 1st, but we could also start a bit earlier (August 18th ) if you need to move in early.

Our home is a bright 2nd floor...
apartment in a condo located in the heart of Cambridge MA, 5 min walk to Harvard Square and 10 mins walk to Central Square. Very quiet street and we are on the top floor so no noisy neighbors above you! No elevator.

Fully equipped kitchen (gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, pots, pans, dishes etc.). It was remodeled in 2020, it's small, but very functional and well organized!

The master bedroom has a king bed, very high ceilings and windows on three sides so it's always very bright and it's the perfect spot to hang out, read and work. You are welcome to use our electric standing desk, double monitors and Herman Miller Aeron office chair. Very comfy mattress and 2-year old bed frame (hydraulic lift with plenty of storage underneath).

The second bedroom has a single bed and a crib (we can remove the crib and the changing table if you don’t need it). If you need a second workstation in this room, there is enough space once we remove the crib, and we have a second Herman Miller Aeron office chair that you can use.

Cozy and spacious living room with a comfy L shaped sofa and armchair. Central heating keeps the apartment always warm in winter and window ACs for the summer. We have a deck and a balcony also that you can use in the spring or summer. Strictly NO SMOKING inside, smoking on the deck is fine. We have private /assigned parking.

The bathroom was recently remodeled, with dual shower head (wand and rain shower).

There’s unfinished basement storage for things like sports equipment, etc.

Laundry: large washer and large dryer are in the basement, shared with 4 other units in the building. We have two drying racks in the apartment if you prefer to air dry your clothes.

Utilities: we would prefer keeping bills in our names, and have the tenant pay us back based on consumption.

Small pets are allowed in the condo, if house trained (no scratching furniture, no barking). Ask us about it.

Optional
- Car: we have a small Volvo SUV (2014 XC 60) and are open to discussing a private lease if interested. If you have kids, we have 2 car seats (one with a base, one easily removable for travel).
- Kids stuff: if you have kids we can leave the crib (can be a toddler bed if you remove a side), changing table, high chair, toys. If you don’t, we’ll remove all this!
- Bikes: we have three bikes in the basement available for you to use (two medium frames, one large frame).
- We have an inflatable single bed that can be put in the second bedroom or living room for the occasional guest.

Neighborhood: We are at the corner between Harvard St and Ellery St. The location is fantastic with supermarkets (Whole Foods, Broadway Market, H-Mart for Asian food), restaurants & bars (Pammy's, Waypoint, Dumpling House, Cafe Sushi, Sakana Sushi), and great cafes (Tatte's, Life Alive, 1369 Coffee House) - all 5-10 mins walking distance. If you have kids there are plenty of fun playgrounds options nearby, including Cooper Sq Park (4 mins walk), Cambridge Public Library (3 mins walk) which also has a whole floor dedicated to children, Harvard Yard and Cambridge Commons (10 mins walk). The apartment is very close to Red Line subway stops – Central or Harvard Square (10 mins walk). You are in Downtown Boston in only 4 stops (15 mins)! Major bus lines also pass by a nearby road (Mass Av).
