Well maintained 2-bedroom apartment available on BEALS STREET, Coolidge Corner in Brookline. This is a privately-owned apartment – one unit of a two-family house on a residential street, being rented by the owner. No agencies or management companies involved, and no fees. The apartment offers far more privacy than a large commercial apartment complex. The unit has 2 bedrooms, a living room, 1 bathroom, and a spacious kitchen. See floor plan diagram and approx. square footage (diagram at bottom of page). Access to a half-bathroom in the basement that includes a toilet and sink may be available in the future.

The apartment has been renovated. It was occupied by the same tenants for many years. It has clean walls, hardwood floors, and 14 windows in total -- gets plenty of light. Two rooms have ceiling fans. There is ample closet space in each bedroom and additional closet space off the hallway. The apartment comes with very nice appliances – see pictures (The stove and the washer shown in the pics have been replaced with newer models. Sink and countertop have also just been updated (Dec. 2025); pics will be updated soon to show them.)

There is a basement that offers some additional storage space. There is also a large front porch. The unit has an updated high-efficiency heating system with a dedicated boiler and programmable thermostat (i.e. the tenants have complete control over the heat, and each of the two units making up the property has independent heating systems). Window air conditioners are available for each of the two bedrooms and are installed by the owner each summer and removed before winter.

LOCATION: Beals Street -- tree-lined and beautiful, historic part of Brookline. Approximate walking time to Longwood Medical area is 25 - 30 minutes. House is within minutes of Coolidge Corner/Beacon Street as well as BU, BC, T stops and supermarkets on Commonwealth Ave. Also not too far from MIT & Harvard. The area is very safe and pleasant.

​Rent includes utilities -- gas, electricity, water, garbage/recycling collection. Tenant may have free access to wifi but router is situated in the other unit of the 2-family house.

PARKING: If needed, parking can be offered at no cost. A second parking space can be offered at a very minimal fee.
