3 Bedroom Apartment Two Porches in Cute Huron Village!
A beautiful home in Cambridge — available June 1st
Hi! I'm the current tenant, and I'm helping find the next one. My son and I are moving out of state after ten wonderful years in Huron Village — and this place deserves someone who'll love it as... much as we have.
It's a spacious 3-bedroom with all the charm you hope for in an older Cambridge building — high ceilings, real character, the kind of place that feels settled and warm the moment you walk in. The light is one of those things you just have to experience: the way it moves through the rooms and shifts across the day is genuinely beautiful.
What I’ll miss most are the two porches: sitting with coffee in the morning sun on the front porch, and then having dinner outside on the back porch in the evening light. There’s also a beautiful tree right outside my office window that gives the whole place a calm, almost tucked-away feeling.
The neighborhood is friendly and genuinely mixed — families, long-time residents, students — with a real sense of community on the street.
Location-wise, it's hard to beat:
🏃 Joggers, dog walkers, Fresh Pond people — it's literally around the corner, five minutes on foot. Long autumn walks, sledding in winter, sitting on a bench in the sun. It's just right there. 👨👩👧 Families with small kids: it's a one-way street, kids play outside, great neighbors all around. Really safe, really easy. 🎶 Kismet Café does live jazz on Friday evenings. Still a bit of a hidden gem. Truly lovely. 🍽️ Formaggio Kitchen is around the corner for when you're feeling fancy — and Fresh Pond Mall is a 15-minute walk for everything else: Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, CVS, a hot yoga studio, a climbing gym. Basically a whole life in one place. 🚌 Harvard Square is 15–20 minutes on foot, or the bus — stop is a 3-minute walk from the front door.
Practical things:
- Available June 1st - Lease through July 31, 2027, with the option to renew - Furniture flexible — happy to leave some or most of it (the apartment is currently set up with three furnished bedrooms, and I’d be happy to leave some or even most of the furniture if that’s helpful—so there’s flexibility for it to be partially or fully furnished. That can all be discussed, depending on your needs.)
Feel free to reach out if you’re interested or want to come see it—I’d love to pass it on to someone who will feel at home here.
