This apartment is the first floor of a three family. It's a quiet building, owner occupied, with a nice south facing porch and garden. The apartment is furnished. It's been a great short term rental for foreign or out of state scholars on a semester... or year fellowship as everything is provided. The front porch of the building offers a separate entrance into the apartment's front hall. That leads onto the a living room with chairs, sofa, bookcases, and that leads onto a dining room that seats 6 comfortably, and then the full kitchen. A small hallway off the kitchen that leads to the bedroom, the bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower, and the study which has a spare bed for a guest. At the back of the kitchen is the rear door of the apartment leading to a small hall and the rear door of the house. This leads onto the large porch and garden. There is covered bike storage. Laundry is in the basement. We are near several parks. 2 blocks away is an excellent convenience store. On our block is a stand for the city blue bike rental. And we are a 10 minute walk to Porter Square where there are shops, restaurants, the Red Line. Harvard Square is a pleasant 20 minute walk.
