General Description of our Garden Apartment: The apartment is a self contained in-law suite, in the lower level of our house, located on the Mystic River, 10 mins from Tufts campus, 20 mins from Harvard University, Cambridge, 20 mins from the City of... Boston.
Enjoy many local outdoor amenities including the Mystic Lakes, parks, playgrounds, jogging paths, tennis/pickleball/basketball courts, all behind our house. We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds as we value and respect diversity.

Specifics: Entry is through the side garden gate. There is one small step down to the path. Then there are 7 steps into the apartment. Please be aware that this apartment is not suitable for people with mobility challenges.
Inside, everything is all on one level with an easy flow design. There is plenty of natural light and each room has been thoughtfully furnished with your comfort and ease in mind. The space is approximately 750 sq. ft. and comprises of the following:
Bedroom: Features a king size bed with dual heated memory foam mattress for the perfect night's sleep. There is ample closet and storage space, a clock/radio/CD player and multiple lighting options to relax and unwind. There is a desk with drawers for storage, a lamp and ample workspace for your laptop.
Living Room: A full-size sofa bed, 2 side chairs and coffee table. A dining room table with 2 chairs that can function as a workspace, bookshelves, an 8' x 10' rug and a 40" screen TV with approximately 30 local channels. Switch to HDMI 3 to cast / stream your own apps. On cold nights, you can relax in front of the Shaker fireplace for extra warmth and ambiance. On warmer days, you will also have use of a portable air conditioning / air conditioner unit.
Kitchenette: Full size fridge/microwave/kettle/toaster oven/electric wok/2 burner electric cook top/ induction cook top/pots & pans / utensils. (NB: NO STOVE). Use of the in unit high efficiency washer/dryer.
Bathroom: Shower, toilet and sink, hanging and storage space.
Outdoor spaces Enjoy the patio with grill/tables/chairs and fire pit. Or take advantage of the great hiking/biking trails and other outdoor activities our area has to offer.
We are within walking distance of a great selection of international restaurants, diners, coffee shops with WIFI and cafes.
Parking: There is free, non-metered on street parking available year-round. During snow storms or weather emergencies you will have your own parking space in our driveway for the duration of your stay.
Other things to note 4 year old Labrador: Please be aware we have a family dog who lives in the main house. He is very playful and has good manners. He is an ex-service dog (in training) who was excused from the program due to allergies.
