Comments

Street parking available with visiting parking permit (which I can supply; however, you would need to move car every few days to avoid a ticket). You can also rent a parking spot nearby but would likely be a separate $150-$200/month.

Furnished, spacious, well-lit, quiet 1br apt short walk to Harvard Sq

Looking to sublet my lovely, fully-furnished apartment! I will be away from late June (~25th) to early August (~8th) summer 2026. Start and end dates are flexible.

Essentials:
Spacious, quiet, luminous 821 sq ft top-floor 1BR available for sublet...
near Harvard Square in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Fully furnished and ideal for working from home (sit/stand desk, 5K monitor, Aeron chair, AC).
$3100/month. Utilities included.
Ideal for visiting academics, grad students, or professionals spending part of the summer in Cambridge.

Apartment:
See photos and floor plan for a sense of the space (821 sq ft). Fully furnished with nice things. Gleaming hardwood floors, ample closet space, spacious bedroom and living-dining room areas (living room includes 4K TV and dedicated work-from-home setup with sit/stand desk, 5K monitor, and Aeron chair), kitchen with gas stove and much prep and storage space (& small dishwasher), bathroom with combined shower + bath. New AC units for bedroom & kitchen/living room area to beat summer heat. Fifth (top) floor with elevator access. View is of Craigie Street and above the building across the way-- can see many trees, church steeples, and Harvard observatory in the distance.

Apartment building:
“26 Concord Ave” run by Leeder Management. Quiet, friendly neighbors. Pet allowed (with permission from building manager). Bike storage room, in-building laundry, big central foyer.

Neighborhood / location / parking:
It’s a peaceful place to live—lots of light, quiet neighbors, and easy walks to Harvard Square (12 mins) and the Charles River (10 mins). Street parking available with visiting parking permit (which I can supply; however, you would need to move car every few days to avoid a ticket). You can also rent a parking spot nearby but would likely be a separate $150-$200/month.

Rent price:
$3100/month. Includes rent, gas, electricity, high-speed internet, rental insurance. Heat and water provided by building. Half of the rent due as a deposit by May 1st.

You would sign a form for my building management company and a sublettor contract. I would like to see a reference from a past landlord(s). I can supply references of previous subletters if helpful.
