Harvard Square, Bright, Modern, Furnished, Treetop Apt, All utilities incl!
Treetop, furnished one-bedroom apartment in a Victorian home near Harvard Square. A private entrance leads you up two flights to a sunny, floor-through apartment looking out over the trees onto a quiet, neighborhood street. The apartment is peaceful... and bright with a modern feel and bamboo floors in the living and dining rooms. It has an updated, kitchen and an open living room dining area that opens onto a private deck. There are window air conditioners in the summer and radiators controlled with your own thermostat for heat in the winter. The property is well-maintained with gardens in the front and back. It's a charming neighborhood convenient to Harvard Square.
The apartment is fully furnished--all you need to bring are your clothes. Furnishings include a queen size bed, kitchen supplies, linens, and lounge chairs on the deck. *Renters are not permitted to move in their own furniture.* All utilities—wi-fi, electricity, heat, and hot water are included in the rent! Washer and dryer, exclusive to the apartment in the stair. Tv and Apple TV are provided, renters responsible for streaming subscriptions.
Move in this June and be in historic Boston for the 2026 World Cup, the Tall Ships, and lots of celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence!
Three buses to Harvard Square stop at the end of the block. Harvard Square, Porter Square, and the subway are all within a 15 min walk. Harvard Observatory and Bunting Quadrangle are adjacent to our home. The Charles River is less than a 10 min walk.
We live in the first two floors of this home with our kids. We have rented to PhD students and post-docs for over a decade now. We are seeking a non-smoking, respectful individual or couple who will be good neighbors to a young family and take care of the apartment. Not suitable for children or pets.
