One furnished room in 2br in Spring Hill, renting for AY or semester, full time or weekly commuter

Big room in a two-bedroom, one bathroom unit, rented by owner (you would share the unit with me). The building is a converted schoolhouse with large windows and very tall ceilings. 15–20 minute walk to campus, near Market Basket, Star Market, and... many restaurants and shops. 15 minute walk to Red line Porter Square T, Green line Magoun Square and Gilman Square stops, Union Square.

The room is furnished with a full-size bed, a desk and chair, a large set of shelves and drawers, and a chrome shelf unit. The washer-dryer is in a closet inside the room, I'll need access once a week—I also store linens there. You are welcome to use the kitchen utensils, linens are available if needed.

The apartment has a big living/dining common area where I also have my desk, a kitchen with a big counter and stools. There's lots of light and many plants. No pets, but there are friendly dogs in the building that you may pass in the halls or see playing in the small green area in the front. The unit is on the second floor of a three-story building, no elevator. It's a friendly building and neighborhood.

I'm renting this room either for the academic year or a semester. You can rent either full time ($1,500/month) or for a few nights a week if you commute (TBD depending on nights). I'm interested in renting to a quiet friendly person who will be a considerate and neat roommate. No couples.
