Private Room in 3BR/2BA Near Harvard | Optional Furnishing | $1,170 | Aug 1 Move In

Hi! We have a private room available starting August 1 in a peaceful 3 bed, 2 bath house on Beacon Street in Somerville. It would be a great fit for a Harvard or MIT grad student, postdoc, researcher, or working professional.

Rent: $1...
,170/month
Utilities: usually $50 to $150/month
Wi-Fi: $25/person per month
Lease: 1 year
Move-in cost: first month and last month (No broker fee)

The room has a closet and can come furnished with a bed, desk, and shelves. The house has central heating, a shared kitchen and dining area, and an in-unit washer and dryer in the basement.

The location is close to Harvard Yard, HGSE, GSD, Whole Foods, Star Market, Market Basket, and cafés like Café Saint-Germain, Broadsheet, and Bom Dough. Lincoln Park is about 6 minutes away, MIT is a 14-minute bike ride, and there is a bike lane right in front of the house.

The 109, 83, and 69 bus stops are about 5 minutes away. Harvard Red Line is a 22-minute walk, and Union Square Green Line is a 14-minute walk.

You would be living with two 30-year-old working professionals: a female HGSE alum working in international education and a male software engineer at MIT. The household is quiet, clean, respectful, smoke-free, and pet-free. We clean up after ourselves, rotate basic chores, and keep common areas tidy.

Please DM me with a bit about yourself, your move-in date, your typical schedule, and what you are looking for in a shared home.

Approximate Utility Cost: $50-$150 per month (gas and electric), $25 (wifi) per month
