Beautiful Furnished Room in Restored Victorian home conveniently located on a quiet dead-end street a five-minute walk to Porter Square and a ten-minute walk to Harvard Square. This excellent location provides quick access to both bus service (a... one-minute walk) and the Red Line Subway Station at Porter Square which is also a major shopping center with a full complement of stores: supermarket, coffee shops, hardware store, pharmacy, book store, and more. There is a Laundromat close by and there are an amazing number of restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood. The private single-occupancy room has recently been completely remodeled and refurbished, is fully furnished, and has access to two shared bathrooms and a fully-equipped shared kitchen. The smoke-free house is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet throughout and all utilities are included. Bed linens and towels are also provided and included in the rent. There is a beautiful flower porch available for seasonal outdoor enjoyment. This is a scholars guest house and as such is very quiet and conducive to serious study and work.
