Spacious house in somerville (Shared Housing)

We’re looking for two new roommates to join our 4-bedroom, 2-bath single-family house on Montrose Street in Somerville. The house is just a 1-minute walk from Gilman Square on the Green Line, so it’s an easy spot for commuting or getting around the... city.

**Two rooms are opening up:**

Room A – $1,425/month
Available around June 1st. There’s some flexibility here — the current roommate may stay through July, so a June move-in is negotiable.

Room B – $1,500/month
Also available around June 1st. This timing is a bit firmer since the current roommate is moving out after a late-May graduation, though moving in a week or so early could work if needed.

**Utilities are not included.**

The house is spacious and comfortable, with a large kitchen, dishwasher, two fridges, two bathrooms, and free in-unit laundry (yes, two washers and two dryers). We also have a great backyard that gets plenty of use once the weather warms up, and parking space. The landlord is responsive, respectful, and easy to work with.

You’d be living with two housemates:

**Giacomo (33M)** – a neurology researcher who enjoys cooking, baking, taking care of the garden, and rewatching *The Office* more times than he’d probably admit.

**Deepali (28F)** – a Harvard-based young professional who enjoys spending time with friends and watching TV shows and movies. She also has a very friendly **2-year-old black-and-white cat named Devi**, who roams the house freely and is a big fan of people.

We’re hoping to find someone in their mid-20s to mid-30s who is*clean, respectful, and reasonably social in shared spaces. Everyone has their own routine, but we enjoy having a friendly house atmosphere — whether that means chatting in the kitchen, grabbing a beer after work, or occasionally doing a movie night, small get-together, or hiking trip.

Pets are welcome to inquire, though we’d need to make sure it’s a good fit with both the landlord and Devi before confirming anything.
